In April of 2017 I re-opened AK Plumbing and Heating. As some of you may know my father originally started this business in 1990 when I was five years old. I was always interested in what he did and in high school I began working with him more and more, eventually going full time with him. I loved working side by side with him and it soon became my passion. I enrolled into plumbing trade school to work on my master plumbing license in 2009 and tragically the summer going into my second year of school my fathers life was cut short in a motorcycle accident. This was a very difficult time for me. I not only lost my father but his business would have to close its doors as I was still only in school and could not take it over. While in school you have to work under a licensed plumber so I went out and landed a job with another company. I worked with them thought my school years and became a master plumber. It had always been my goal to be able to re-open AK Plumbing and Heating. After the birth of my son John Hrycuna V, I felt the need to even more. With the support of my family we decided it was time to take the leap and do what I had wanted to do since I first began working side by side with my father. So, here I am excited and eager to make my dad proud and provide Plumbing and Heating services at affordable rates to everyone.
